Description: The Commuter Pannier is just the thing for carrying office files and a complete change of clothes to and from work. In conjunction with a Horizontal Computer Adaptable Pack (CAP), it will also safely transport a laptop computer with ease. This pannier is available in asymmetric right-side and left-side models (sold separately) which are designed to give plenty of heel clearance while you pedal. As always, we have constructed this bag with Hydrothane-coated Dupont Cordura for excellent water repellency, and all seams are taped to prevent fraying. The main compartment is expandable for those of you who like to stuff in just a little more, and a storm flap covers its heavy-duty zipper. An exterior side compartment with a flat zippered pocket is finished with 3M Scotchlite Reflective Material trim for nighttime safety. The lock-on mounting system can be quickly hidden away under a hook and loop-edged Cordura flap. The bag comes complete with our new Deluxe Shoulder Strap for comfortable off the bike transport, or you can use the padded leather handle on top. In pannier mode, the rear cover flap should be rolled up like a window blind and secured to the top of the bag. You can store the shoulder strap in the bag or snap it between the handle straps to keep it out of your spokes. Deployable rain cover is included.
