Description: The Goliath is our largest, most monstrous backpack; the only disadvantage to the size of this one is whether or not you can actually carry it once it is fully loaded!
Like the Sufa and Barad, the Goliath is supported by the Maximum Support Applied Geometry suspension system to make crushing loads more bearable. It is available in small, regular, and large sizes (the 28" stays make it one of the only packs on the market that can easily fit people 6 feet 4" and taller). The two-pocket Goliath hood has four sets of exterior lash points and converts instantly to a lumbar pack. The telescoping hood floats on an enormous 12.5" storm sleeve for spectacular overstuffing capabilities. Three pairs of horizontal compression straps keep loads under control; the middle set is secured with side-squeeze buckles, which can be released for easy access to the baffled side pockets. These baffled side pockets (unlike typical boxy pockets seen on other makers packs) maintain a sleek profile, conforming exactly to the load they contain. A shovel pocket/crampon patch with twin daisy chains, dual ice ax loops, two water bottle holsters with attached wand pockets, and compression/accessory straps around the sleeping bag compartment, round out the exterior features. The large main compartment has a headroom compression system and a zippered divider between the upper and lower portions of the bag. The storm-flapped zipper on the sleeping bag compartment allows quick access to items in the bottom of the pack. Custom Made to your color choice.
