Description: The Hermon Monster Lumbar Pack features a top-loading zippered main compartment with hanging pocket and grab handle, a rear baffled pocket with storm-flapped zipper, and a vertical compression system similar. This bag has a double layer of Cordura® at the bottom for durability, and a DryLex® padded belt lets you carry loads in comfort. A highlight of the Hermon is its HDPE frame sheet and aluminum vertical stay which provide a custom fit (the frame sheet can also be removed) Stability and support are ensured due to the load transfer from the flexible frame sheet to the harness belt system. If it happens that your pack is not filled, the Hermon will carry your small load in comfort since the compression system anchors on the frame sheet, not just the belt, keeping everything stable. If extremely heavy loads are to be carried, we recommend adding the optional Military Harness System.
