The Mountain Expedition Panniers are excellent for tandem tourists or any cyclists who prefer to fit all their gear into one set of bags. These huge top-loading panniers have removable aluminum rods and HDPE panels to maintain the bags' shape, even under heavy loads. Telescoping hood pockets tower on 10.5" storm sleeves over the main compartments. Storage and organization are augmented by six additional pockets: two horizontal, two flat (one full Cordura and one breathable mesh), and two vertical pockets at the rear, one of which zips off to become a fanny pack. Water bottle holsters are mounted on the fronts of the bags for easy access on hot days (water bottles included). Front cutaways make for kick-free riding, and 3M Scotchlite Reflective material on three sides increases nighttime visibility. The snap-together leather handles and lower mating snaps on webbing tails are complimented by two pairs of D-rings where you can attach an optional shoulder strap for easy transport off your bike.
