Zoor Alpinist

For hard-core pack users who like to put their equipment to the test, the Zoor is the pack of choice. The Zoor's narrow profile and 2700+ci size make it the perfect pack for two-to-three day adventures.

The Zoor's main top-loading compartment has a 10.5" storm sleeve/bivy extension which creates over 1000 ci of overstuff capacity. The sculpted hood has a large main pocket with a hidden flat pocket underneath to protect maps and documents. The hood telescopes to control any load and has the added benefit of a hook-and-loop lockdown tab to keep the hood securely in place. The Zoor features multiple lash points, dual daisy chains and wand pockets, ice ax loops, and a SuperTex™ vinyl crampon patch. The double bottom is sheathed with 1050-denier ballistics nylon for superior abrasion resistance.

Because weight and bulk are primary concerns in activities such as climbing and skiing (for which the Zoor was originally designed), we intentionally omitted a frame system. Instead, the side panels are cut to a slight "S" shape to conform to your back when loaded, and horizontal compression straps contain the load. The sewn-in back pad and shoulder straps add comfort and durability. The hideaway Cambrelle™ lined belting system is also a great feature of the Zoor; the belt's reverse lift strap allows the wearer to adjust the pack according to the terrain. For climbing, the belt can be tucked away, protecting it from abrasion and keeping it out of the way of a harness and gear loops.

The Zoor is available in Small and Regular sizes; both have the same volume, but vary in shoulder strap and torso length.
