Description: If you are seeking a full-featured, mid-size travel pack respectable enough for any five-star hotel, but capable of handling any backpacking adventure with comfort, Jandd's Esh Traveler is the pack for you. The voluminous main compartment has an arrangement of internal and external compression straps to keep your possessions compact and tidy, while lockable dual zipper heads (complete with protective storm flaps) ensure that your gear will stay where you put it. The roomy rear compartment has two diagonal zippered pockets, and zips off via a retractable comfort zipper to be-come a separate daypack. Lash points adjacent to the top grab handle and at the bottom of the bag allow you to strap on additional gear. To convert to luggage mode, pull the rear cover flap from its storage pocket on the bottom of the pack and pull the zipper around the entire suspension system. In luggage mode the Esh can be carried by the Deluxe Shoulder Strap or with an assist from the leather handle on the side of the bag. The Esh features the Medium Support Applied Geometry suspension system in both regular and small sizes, so you will be assured of the perfect fit.

FIELD NOTES: Use zip ties or plastic locks (anything that can be easily cut) to secure zippers while traveling. That way, in the unfortunate event that a thief wants into your bag, he can get in via the zippers and leave you with half a chance of at least retrieving your bag intact. Also, always keep any valuables you may have in the removable daypack to carry with you at all times.
