Compression Stuff Sack & Day Pack

Product ID: FCS
Description:

Unlike many compression stuff sack designs that have only straps attached to the sides or floating end caps that become hopelessly tangled every time you take the top off, JANDD compression stuffs have two sets of straps attached at the bottom of the bag. One strap is sewn down completely, the other is box tacked on the edges to create a grab handle essential in the decompression process. The top of the bag has a double closure system utilizing an internal storm flap like on our standard stuff bags and another tightly sculpted outer cap with four side release buckles. In addition to being a great way to carry space intensive items, our compression stuff sacks also make great light duty summit/day packs. Use two of the compression straps as shoulder straps for an ultra light day pack or clip in the padded straps by releasing the side release buckles on the fixed side of the hood and mating the ends of the padded strap to the appropriate ends of the bag and webbing.
Price shown for a medium.

Small:     7x20 (in) 18x51 (cm)
Medium: 8x24 (in) 20x61 (cm)
Large:   10x26 (in) 25x66 (cm)

USER’S NOTE: To use, open the top flap via the side release buckles, stuff in your bag, jacket, pile clothing etc. cover with internal storm flap, pull the draw cord tight, flip the outer cap over the top and buckle the side squeeze buckles. Next tighten down the straps alternating (in the same pattern used to tighten the lug nuts on a car) until you have reduced the load to the size you want.

Warning: Do not store sleeping bags down or synthetic in a compression or standard stuff sack for extended periods (i.e. when you get home). It kills the loft of the bag, any quality sleeping bag should be stored in a large storage bag or hung in a dry closet.
