We searched high and low for a fabric that would stand up to the rigors of off-road cycling, and found Durastretch®, which is used in our Mountain Chap Series, for ultimate abrasion-resistance. For over three years this idea has been in the works, and it is finally here. Cowboys ride with chaps to protect their legs from the rough-and-tumble brush..why not make bicycle shorts tough enough for off-road use in the same spirit as chaps? For the outer thigh, we took the toughest material we could find, Durastretch®. Each Lycra® filament is individually wrapped and protected by Antron® nylon. Then we melded it with our super sexy 6.3-ounce pro material for the inner thigh. Thus, the Mountain Chap. Get along, little doggie, and get yourself a pair.
